University Services
University Housing
NC State Housing works with the Disability Resource Office to ensure residents and visitors can access University Housing Services.
Parking and Transportation
Transportation provides accessible parking permits and accessible bus transportation. Wolfpack Pickup helps people with mobile impairments get around campus. For information about the physical accessibility of campus, please see the Accessible Campus Map.
University Libraries
The NC State University Libraries is committed to providing access to all Libraries collections, services, and spaces for all users. NC State Libraries Accessibility provides information about library resources available in each branch including accessible parking and entrances, available assistive technology and how to reserve a wheelchair if needed to enjoy the libraries services.
Digital Accessibility
Course Accessibility
Faculty and staff should consult the DELTA Course Accessibility Guide, Quick Course Content Checklist, and the IT Accessibility Quick Guide to begin exploring how to create accessible educational and other electronic material.
Accessible IT
Web developers should consult the Web Accessibility Handbook for guidance on creating accessible Websites and the IT Accessibility website for more information. You can also use the PopeTech Accessibility Scanner to ensure your websites are accessible.
Accessible Procurement
All information and communication technology purchases must adhere to university policies. Bidders for purchase orders must provide accessibility documentation, and many purchases are subject to an Accessibility Review before procurement and upon each renewal.
Assistive Technology at NC State
The NC State community can access Assistive Technology through the Disability Resource Office and the NC State Library. Their website, NC State Library AT Resources, provides more information about available information.
